General conditions of sale and delivery and general conditions of the maintenance contract for professional customers
All our products are sold new, in their original condition. The affairs of Maison du Café, Trottet SA and the buyer are governed exclusively by the conditions below. These conditions take precedence in any case over any other condition sent by the buyer or appearing on its documents. Our items sold on the website or in stores are only intended for standard customers and not resellers.
La Maison du Café, Trottet SA reserves the right to adapt and modify these general conditions of sale. In the event of a change, these will apply to each order.
The customer must provide all the information essential for the delivery of a product (address, telephone, name, first name, e-mail address). The password received when registering on our website is confidential. For subsequent orders, the customer is required to enter his email and password to identify himself.
All information received on trottet.ch and trottet.com is proof of transaction between the Company and the customer.
All contractual information is presented in French, English or German.
The Company reserves the right to cancel the order of a customer with whom a dispute exists following an old order.
The Company confirms receipt of the order to the customer by displaying the order number and sending a valid e-mail address.
The customer order is considered accepted only after validation by the Company.
The order can be canceled with immediate effect if the customer has lacked information to be delivered.
In case of promotion, it is not possible to change an order, return, cancel, or renew an order. Note that an order notified for withdrawal returned to the sender cannot be renewed.
CH: Orders received before 4:00 p.m. are dispatched the same day to be delivered the next day or within 48:00 at the maximum.
FR / European Union: Orders are dispatched within one week by French post.
All prices are indicated in Swiss francs or euros. They are generally displayed including VAT. All prices are indicative prices, except in the event of writing, printing or calculation errors. The Company reserves the right to modify its prices at any time but the products are taxed, to the customer, at the value of the latter at the time of their order. All our items are sold within the limits of available stocks and we reserve the right to limit the quantities requested per order and per customer. Our shop, Rue Emma-Kammacher 4, has the same sales rules and apply to them. Delivery is free in Switzerland from CHF 25.- purchase and in France or European Union, from EUR 20. However, this system can be modified by the Company at any time.
The authentic prices are the prices displayed and current on the website. No other price displayed on our networks, videos, or other locations can be taken into account.
VAT and customs and import duties
Shipments to Switzerland are invoiced Swiss VAT included. Shipments to a country in the European Union are invoiced French VAT included. For shipments outside the European Union: customs and import duties are the responsibility of the customer.
It is the customer's responsibility to inform the local authorities of any import restrictions on the products before confirming an order.
All our prices are calculated net. Our invoices must therefore be paid without any deduction and no later than 30 days after the invoice date. In the event of non-compliance with this payment period, our company is entitled to charge a default interest of 7%. We reserve the right to fulfill orders from new or existing customers against refund or prepayment.
Please note that orders with a value greater than CHF 500.- may generate a request for advance payment before receipt.
Retention of title
The delivered goods remain the property of La Maison du Café Trottet SA until full payment of the balance of the invoice. La Maison du Café Trottet SA is entitled to make a corresponding entry in the register.
The customer declares to have read and accepted the general conditions of sale before placing the order.
The products offered on our website are valid as long as they are visible on the site, within the limits of available stocks, subject to errors made internally during inventory management.
For products rated without price and without possibility of purchase, the offers are valid subject to availability from our suppliers.
Transport and delivery costs
Transport costs are free from CHF 25.- purchase for Switzerland and from € 20.- for countries of the European Union. Otherwise the shipping costs are charged CHF 5.- for Switzerland and € 9.- for the countries of the European Union.
Products purchased on trottet.ch or trottet.com can be delivered to Switzerland or the European Union. They will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer. The Company cannot be held responsible for a delay in delivery.
The products delivered within 24 hours are the coffee machines, which are sent as a priority package.
Coffee machines, grinders and accessories are only available in Switzerland.
Within 48 hours products are delivered such as: accessories, coffee grinders, tea products, coffees, cleaning products, always in Switzerland.
French deliveries are made within 5 to 10 days depending on entry.
Note that these delivery ratings are valid during working days. If the order is placed on a Friday, the customer will be delivered on Monday.
Delays in delivery may occur during the purchasing process from the Company: The latter cannot be held responsible. The delay may be due to a promotion, roasting, order expected from suppliers.
The Origins and Rare Cafés collections may be delayed in delivery. These products in small quantities may not be delivered on time due to the harvest periods at the producer.
The Company cannot be held responsible for a delay in delivery in the event of consequences beyond its control, in cases of force majeure or directly from the carrier.
An ordered product that is unavailable will be the subject of an offer within 30 days: waiting for the product or reimbursement following the complaint or even replacing the product with an equivalent product.
If the product is temporarily unavailable, the customer is kept informed of the date on which the product will be in stock with us again.
The customer undertakes to collect and be responsible for the goods at the address to which he wished to deliver them.
The customer must, if requested, be able to prove his identity when receiving an order.
If the customer knows of a defect in the product received, he must inform the company on the same day of delivery. Deadline exceeded, the product is considered accepted in the condition received.
If the customer receives a delivery whose quality or quantity does not match, he is required to inform the company as soon as possible to consider a possible refund or replacement. During the complaint, the customer is required to identify himself and inform the order reference.
Nespresso® * compatible coffee machines do not come with coffee samples or other promotional products. Only the machines are delivered to Customers.
Satisfaction and refund
The customer has a return period of 30 days to return the new goods to us.
The goods must be in their new original packaging, undamaged, unused.
If the goods have been opened or used, the return therefore becomes impossible. The 30-day free return is valid for all products on our website.
The return of goods must contain the returned product as well as all the accompanying parts. The original invoice must be among the products.
A damaged, absent, deteriorated product without an original invoice will not be refunded or exchanged. The product is returned to the customer, at his expense.
The Company reserves the right to refuse the product returned due to the lack of accessories. Unless otherwise stated, the customer receives a return ticket to be able to return their goods, if the Company stipulates that this is necessary, within 30 days from the date of purchase. Beyond, return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
For after-sales service by brand, all shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Limestone, deliberate destruction and the like on a coffee machine, mill or other voids the product warranty and therefore voids reimbursement and repair. See general conditions of after-sales service.
A second-hand product (machines, accessories, etc.) does not benefit from a possible exchange, reversal or refund.
Workshops and visits: Workshops and visits are payable in advance. You can cancel your visit 24 hours in advance to be reimbursed. If your registration has not been canceled within the preceding 24 hours or not at all, your amount will not be returned to you.
Packages of coffee ordered "ground" cannot be returned or exchanged.
Products ordered by professional accounts cannot be returned or exchanged.
The Company's site has a high security system. Payment is therefore secure and allows very rapid processing of orders made on our website.
The customer is automatically directed to our banking partner during their payment process. The information there is strictly secure, confidential and cannot be found by others.

All that appears on the Company's website belongs to him suitably. Whether it is images, texts, books, documentation, the Company owns it internationally.

Coffee machines and other products usable in the same direction are guaranteed for two years for private domestic use and one year for professional use. However, the warranty is only valid if the customer complies with the standards and rules in the standard warranty. A coffee machine must be maintained at its fair value. Cleaning / descaling is recommended for each month. During a possible repair, if the lime is visible and noticed on the machine, the repair is not taken into account during the warranty and it is therefore invoiced to you.
The price is made up of CHF 160.- ht / hour for a technician, and CHF 149.- ht / GE-VD-La Côte for the travel package.
General conditions of the maintenance contract for professional customers :
It is important to note that for all machines sent to us and for which we do not provide after-sales service will be returned to you at your expense. Please read carefully the general terms and conditions of after-sales service by brand, which are accepted when you purchase a machine from Maison du Café, Trottet SA.
Reservations / Disputes
The manufacturers supplying their products to us reserve the right to modify any specifics of the products they supply. The Seller is not responsible for this and the customer alone must be informed of these changes.
This contract is subject to Swiss law. The official language of the contract is French.
The data collected via orders placed on the trottet.ch or trottet.com site is intended to improve the quality of the products and services sold. This is also our motivation to better meet customer expectations. Customers agree that the Company will use the information received following an order or otherwise.
Place of jurisdiction
Our commercial activities are based exclusively on Swiss law. The place of execution and place of jurisdiction is Geneva.
Promotions, discounts, credit
The promotions as well as the promotional codes received are only valid on internet prices at the time and cannot be combined with other prices or offers. These are only valid during the period mentioned. Internet promotions are valid during their visibility and can be suspended by Maison du Café, Trottet SA at any time.
Promotions are only valid for 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated. Not valid on the Budget range, coffee packs, machine packs, or any other current promotions and / or similar. Our offers are not cumulative. If several promotions are activated, they cannot be combined. The authentic promotions are the only promotions displayed on www.trottet.ch or trottet.com during a given period.
Promotional codes cannot be converted into a credit voucher or credit to a customer account. The promotion is valid within a specified time, see promotional banners.
